Entrepreneurship as a required subject, Start-up Fund -> Expand the business to the Silicon Valley

  • Proliferation of the start-up culture by designating the Entrepreneurship as a required subject (SW Startup and Entrepreneurship).
    • TMP Lab operation → Start-up culture proliferation through the TU Honors Club → Start-up fund support (300 mill. in 2020) → Cultivate one Start-Up company (Silicon Valley in 2021)
  • Start-up support in cooperation with Xn Tree Co. Ltd. * A global accelerator company (established a branch in Busan, 2017)

  • Collaboration with the Marking for SMBs through Students Studying Overseas Program (City of Busan-TU-Busan and Ulsan SMBA)
    • 15 South Korean Students, 9 Chinese students, and long-term interns of 15 companies are to participate
International Exchange
Oversea Internship Program
  • An internship program jointly organized by the City of Busan and our university to help the students find jobs in other countries.
    • A certified language skill assessment score is needed: 2016 USA (1), Singapore (1), the Philippines (1)
Others
  • TU Bobusang: Started in 2012. Developing a new market in Thailand by marketing the products of the family businesses
    • Global Startup Camp: Business connection program with the University of Fukuoka, trend watching in the Chinese market, and Start-up Exchange Event between South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines

Helping the Students with Skills in SW Development Find Jobs in Other Countries

  • Operate a joint project for the overseas internships and education
